I use to play back in the game's prime days. Now it's been too long and forgot a lot of stuff and I recently got back. I feel really weak and I found some people to party up with but I want to reach the high levels like everyone else, what is the best and most efficient way to catch up?
Leveling up is a lot quicker in this version of the game. I wouldn't worry about leveling super quick until you get to around level 55, because between lvl 1 to 54 there are a lot of rare items you can get, mainly corn, butter, firewood, and others listed here Beginners Guide: Item Drops to Hold OntoMost of those items only drop in lower level maps, so gathering them to sell to high level players is a great way to make money early on. Then you can buy exp books in the general store to level up even quicker. At lvl 45, you can start to join Tramis Mansion parties. Look for people shouting for it and join it when there is a party forming, its great exp.
Most of the quests aren't that great, but here is a list of the good ones Beginners' Guide: Recommended Quests to Consider/Complete
You seem to know the Ins and Outs of guides...could you help direct me to a site/guide to where it shows when mobs ,and at what maps, start to run from you depending on player level? I can't seem to find one. Thanks in advance!
click on the lexicon and scroll down to the "monster glossary" sections. They list the monsters and their levels. Its not 100% accurate, but gives you a rough estimate
Hey pooch, do you have Illusion quake 2 & 3, spirit 2, minor heal 3 & 4, poison clear 2 (master), holy cure 2 (master), guardianship 1, spirit 3, fist up 3? i'm trying to get my husbands healer set up.
I likely do. I'll be online for the next 2 hours
Didn't you used to post on the old game forums a lot back then?
yep, I was a frequent poster
