By the way, the refining aspects of the pet quests seem to be 100% sucess now? Maybe the lack of wheel animation hides this and there's still chance of failing? Reply here if you have ever failed this aspect of the PQ [post migration] with

You can also skip the initial conversation with the Crazy Old Man for adding a Song to Music Box step.
If you are adding a song to the music box, you don't need to go to the Crazy Old Man as the first step. You can simply go to whoever gives you the material (For example, the Essene Armor Merchant), get the material and then go to the Crazy Old Man to add the song. It saves you a trip.

Expanding on the last post I made on Upgrading Incubator steps...
Step 38: Egg Wants Perfume - This is another step where you are told to talk to one NPC (In this case, General Merchant) and then go to another NPC (Leadman) to complete the step, but you aren't required to talk to General Merchant. You can go straight to Leadman in Essene and complete the quest.
This can save you a little bit of time. This is especially crucial if you are doing Pet Quests on multiple characters. Running to visit NPC can amount to significant time loss and skipping one such visit can be a big time saver on multiple toons.
Tetraites
The step for upgrading Incubator - Even though the egg tells you to go talk to Enchanter and Enchanter tells you to upgrade the Incubator, talking to the Enchanter is not a requirement.
If you know which item to use to upgrade the Incubator, you can go straight to the Blacksmith after talking to the Egg and bypass Enchanter. Just a small tip to save time.

After suceeding with the Blacksmith, you have to speak to the egg again to get the 4 hour cooldown, also, the incubator cannot be equiped when you speak to the egg.

ah yes it does! it determines the color of egg you will receive for hatching, either magenta or blue :3

mounts (obtainable through alchemist - not through hatching) are pretty random, I have not seen a common pattern yet that determines which pets = specific mounts

Good job porting this info from the forums to Lexi. Would love to see these split up into 45 steps, one for each cooldown so it's more clear. Thanks for all the hard work you all do for everyone

ohhh okiii, i think he may have done it that way cause those steps may have been like part 1 part 2 part 3 before the quest is completely done for that step but i can make it into a sub part. Currently restarting it so ill double check each part! ♡
